There are a number of different quick happiness boosters out there, one I have seen a lot of is the gratitude list.

Scribble down ten things you can be grateful for.  Look at them and think about them.  Remember that no matter how bad the situation seems, there are always these ten reasons (at least) to be grateful.

  1. My daughter
  2. My partner
  3. Friends
  4. My physical health
  5. A roof over my head
  6. Food in the cupboards
  7. Internet connection
  8. A health service I can access without fear of having to pay
  9. My intelligence
  10. Being alive.

So, what would be on your list of ten things to be grateful for?
